Hannamvale Road is constantly overgrown, with pest species and long grass on the verge. Several school children need to walk along Hannamvale Rd to go home after school and local residents who walk their dogs also need to traverse this section of road. As the road becomes quite curvy and the speed limit varies between 60km/hr and 90km/hr (with most vehicles exceeding these speed limits), we would like to ask that the GTCC maintain this section of road by slashing the grass / weeds so that we can walk in the verge beside the road. As a walker myself, I find it quite dangerous to walk my dog along this road as with the overgrown weeds and grass, I cannot walk in the verge and cannot actually get off the road if a car comes towards me unless I jump in to the prickle bushes! -- Karsten Irving, Moorland
